INSTALLATION
One more hurrying visitor opens the public toilet door. A corner of a thin piece of paper quivers on the wall. Faces, figures, silhouettes stay crowded on an ephemeral surface. These are our own reflections that accumulate anonymously in the many mirrors, surfaces and pipelines of public places and in the air.
The familiar material of paper was used for Overgrown as I aimed to record our everyday moments. This installation was a fragile attempt to trace them as they leave both material and immaterial traces behind themselves at the very same time as being born.

The installation was part of a contemporary music and art festival ARS NOVA 2023.
